Who can benefit?
Clinical Supervision & Consultation Approach
Drawing from a deep-rooted psychodynamic tradition and enriched by integrative, contemporary perspectives, my supervision and consultation approach offers a supportive, reflective, and growth-oriented space. Grounded in relational principles, I work collaboratively with clinicians to explore the subtle interplay of transference and countertransference, refine therapeutic formulations, and enhance clinical intuition.
In each session, I strive to create a safe environment where questions, uncertainties, and creative possibilities can flourish. We not only focus on technique but also delve into the emotional and relational dynamics that inevitably arise in clinical work. By integrating insights from both classical psychodynamic theory and modern relational theories, I tailor supervision to each individual’s style, theoretical orientation, and client population—helping every clinician deepen their self-awareness, elevate their therapeutic craft, and provide more meaningful care to those they serve.
On a more technical note, I’m informed by psychoanalytic models of supervision, the common factors model of supervision, the integrative developmental model, and the discrimination model (Bernard & Goodyear, 2014).

Johnson (2007) describes what is known as “transformative supervision,” that moves along the continuum from transactional to transformative. This process is supported by a relationship where the supervisor is invested in the supervisee and is also learning from the relationship. Thus, the quality is reciprocal, dynamic, and emotionally connected in that there is a deliberate and generative concern for the supervisee that goes beyond the acquisition of clinical skills and widens beyond the graduate program. This is the type of relationship I hope to offer.

Absolutely. If you prefer a personal and reciprocal relationship for guidance, teaching, advice, support, and challenge, I’m happy to speak with you about that option.
